When he is assigned Teddy Roosevelt as his biography project in school, fourth-grader Riley finds himself inspired by Roosevelt's tenacity and perseverance and resolves to find a way to get what he most wants - a saxophone and music lessons.
I don't know much about Teddy Roosevelt. What is one thing you know about him?

I read this book for the Summer Reading Program. It was a good book because it had good detail that gave me a good picture in my mind of what everyone looked like for their biography assignment. Riley really wanted to play the saxophone, but it cost a lot of money.
JV,
I don't know much about Teddy Roosevelt. Did you learn interesting things about him or was the story more about Riley wanting to play the saxaphone?
Ms. R.
I just started this book. I love to play school so I use it as an orl lit. book. I read it outside in my garage. It was fun. I like this book and I've only read the first chapter.
