The Homework Machine, Dan Gutman

Four fifth-grade students - a geek, a class clown, a teacher's pet, and a slacker - as well as their teacher and mothers, each relate events surrounding a computer programmed to complete homework assignments.

Dan Gutman's website might be geared more towards teachers, but like he says, there might be a few surprises.

If there was such a thing as a homework machine, would you use it? What if it meant you wouldn't understand what you needed to understand for class? Would you STILL use it?

It would be so cool if you could actually have a machine that could your homework for you. Bad news for teachers, good news for students.
