A Dog's Life: The Autobiography of a Stray, Ann M. Martin

There have been a lot of comments on this book, but I need a blurb about it, too! Any takers to write something up? If you've read this book?
I hear that if you like this book you should read Ann Martin's new book, Everything for a Dog.

This book is a great tale with a sad ending:(
P.S.- I hope this isn't a spoller!

Don't you know, Ethan, that ALL books with dogs on the front (exception being Because of Winn-Dixie) always end sadly? :-) I'm joking, but it seems to be true a lot of the time. That's why you won't find me reading books about dogs very often. If you do see it, trust me, I will have asked someone a hundred times, "Are you SURE this doesn't have a sad ending?"

that book is a little sad but I still like it. I cried a little bit in it but overall I loved it!

Please! Someone tell me! How can a book be sad and good at the same time!

A lot of books are sad and good at the same time. I really like it that way so I can make up a good ending of my own.

I need a volunteer to read Ann Martin's new book about dogs. It's called EVERYTHING FOR A DOG. It looks like it might cause me to go through a whole box of Kleenex; thus, I won't read it. Any takers?

I just started reading Everything For A Dog. It is kinda like A Dogs Life but it has 3 stories in 1 book! You should definently read it Nada

I read this book a few years ago and I really enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the fact that it was in the dogs point of view, you just don't usually see books like that anymore (well I don't anyway). Like many other people who put comments, I agree that it is sad and good at the same time.I think that this book is quite good for young readers, because of the bigger print, and anyone who just likes books about dogs, and don't mind some sad parts. But I don't think the sad parts matter much as long as the story has its happy parts. So overall I suggest reading this book.

Morgan,
I think even if this book had smaller print it would still be a good book for younger readers.
